OBSEC member states adopt Baku Declaration on the field of tourism

“Baku Declaration” was adopted at the conclusion of the “1st meeting of educational institutions on tourism of the OBSEC member states” held on the joint initiative of the State Tourism Agency of Azerbaijan and the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (OBSEC), the State Tourism Agency told APA-Economics.

The Decleration includes expansion of cooperation in various directions of tourism education, as well as research and information exchange, promotion of cultural heritage, tourism innovations and the intention of continuous holding of this meeting, which was organized for the first time.

At the round table held within the framework of the meeting, the matters of expanding partnership opportunities for tourism education among the member states of the organization, training programs and creating a single network of tourism education institutions were discussed.

Note that the mentioned meeting was attended by official state representatives and representatives of tourism educational institutions from 11 member countries of the organization, including Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Russia, Albania, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Moldova, Romania, Serbia and Ukraine, as well as representatives of the UN Tourism (UNTWO).
