Joint Azerbaijani-Turkish Tourism Commission held 3rd meeting

Joint Azerbaijani-Turkish Tourism Commission has held its third meeting, State Tourism Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan told APA.

During the 3rd meeting of the Joint Azerbaijani-Turkish Tourism Commission held in Istanbul on December 21, the priority cooperation matters in the field of tourism, the current state of the bilateral tourism ties, tourism trainings, development of business and investments in the tourism infrastructure, cooperation in the field of cultural heritage protection, marketing, communication and tourism products, as well as the preparation of the Joint Action program for the next period and other matters were discussed.

During the event, Association of Travel Agencies of Azerbaijan (ATAA) and Association of Turkish Travel Agencies (TÜRSAB) held a meeting.

At the end, the matters implemented within the framework of the Joint Action Plan for 2023 were evaluated and a new Joint Action Plan for 2024 was prepared. The next meeting of the working group was decided to be held in Azerbaijan in 2024.
