In 2024, the revenues of hotels and hotel-type facilities in Azerbaijan increased by 42.0 percent compared to 2023, reaching 694.2 million manat, APA-Economics citing Azerbaijan's State Statistics Committee.
According to the information, 65.5 percent of this was obtained from services for the provision of rooms, 24.5 percent from public catering services, 2.5 percent from treatment and health services, and 7.5 percent from the provision of other services.
In 2024, the level of single-use capacity utilization of hotels and hotel-type facilities was 24.0 percent across the country (20.1 percent in 2023). This indicator was 62.9 percent in Shabran, 46.1 percent in Naftalan, 39.3 percent in Baku, 27.0 percent in Gusar, 23.7 percent in Sabirabad, 23.5 percent in Gabala, 22.2 percent in Guba, 19.2 percent in Aghstafa, 17.6 percent in Aghjabadi, 17.5 percent in Beylagan, 17.4 percent in Shamakhi, 17.3 percent in Lankaran, and lower than 17.3 percent in other cities and regions.
