Chamber of Accounts uncovers AZN 18.5 million violations in State Tourism Agency

The Chamber of Accounts has discovered violations worth 18.5 million manat in the State Tourism Agency, APA-Economics reports, citing the Chamber.

According to the information, this was revealed during an audit conducted by the Chamber.

The agency, in the context of making relevant applications to the "Azerbaijan Tourism Bureau" and the "Reserve Management Center" regarding the transfer of funds for 2023-2024 and not receiving appropriate consent or response to those applications, evaded the requirement to transfer budget funds totaling 18.5 million manat to subordinate institutions at the end of the year and transfer the balances of all treasury accounts to a single treasury account at the end of the year.
