"We are in Azerbaijan today, in Karabakh — a region where sorrowful events took place for a long time," said Belarusian traveler Yelizaveta Makey during her visit to the liberated territories, APA reports.
She noted that peace has finally prevailed.
"As a Belarusian, I am truly happy that this region can now be developed. We are witnessing major economic growth and numerous construction projects. People are trying to contribute to the development of the region. I am very happy for the Azerbaijani people. I believe Karabakh is a very attractive region both for Azerbaijan and for international tourism," the traveler said.
She also emphasized that the main cities of Karabakh possess beautiful and traditional architecture.
