"Since the development of health tourism depends on complex measures, the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan is actively working with relevant state bodies in this field," said Teymur Musayev, the Minister of Health of Azerbaijan during the panel speech of Azerbaijan-Türkiye Investment Forum dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Great Leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev and the establishment of the Republic of Türkiye, APA reports.
He noted that works on the project to increase the role of Naftalan oil in the development of health tourism together with State Tourism Agency of Azerbaijan continue.
The Minister brought attention to the works in the direction of development of tourism infrastructure during the restoration works in liberated territories: “The existing natural resources in Garabagh and Eastern Zangazur, climatic conditions create unique conditions for the development of healthcare tourism.”
