Baku. Ulkar Gasimova – APA. Presentation ceremony of the new online reservation system has been held in Baku Tourism Information Center today, APA reports. Head of Baku Tourism Information Center Alibanda Mammadov said the system would make it available to get information about Azerbaijan’s tourism potential, tourist routes, tourism-rest centers and hotels from any place of the world. The tourists wishing to come to Azerbaijan will be able to reserve hotels in Baku through www.bakutourism.az.
“This online reservation system in Azeri, Russian and English covers information about nine hotels in Baku. The number of these hotels will increase in future. The website also gives information about prices of hotels. We would like the system to cover not only Baku, but also all regions of Azerbaijan,†he said.
Culture and Tourism Minister Abulfas Garayev highly appreciated the system. The minister said establishment of such a system will pave the way for the development of tourism in Azerbaijan. The new online reservation system has been prepared on the initiative of Baku Tourism Information Center.
