Info-tour on the presentation of Gabalaâ€™s tourism potential â€“ <font color=red>PHOTOSESSION </font>

Info-tour on the presentation of tourism potential of Gabala region was held with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and Gilan-Turizm LLC, APAâ€™s correspondent reports from Gabala. The info-tour aimed to familiarize local and foreign tourism companies with the hotels and sanatoria in Gabala, establish relations among them, demonstrate services and improve the internal tourism. Qafqaz Riverside Hotel owned by Gilan Holding was presented on the first day of the info-tour. About 50 local and foreign tourism companies, 15 media representatives attended the event. Representative of the tourism department of the Culture and Tourism Ministry Jafar Garayev said the event aims to familiarize tourism companies with hotels in Gabala, offer qualitative services to local and foreign tourists. Chief manager of Qafqaz Riverside hotel Suleyman Mammadov said:
â€œOne of the achievements is the interest of local and foreign tourists in our hotel. Gilan-Turizm has invited hotel employees from Turkey. They hold regular trainings so that the level of service meets the world standards.â€

According to the hotel official, the hotel has 350 employees. The five-star hotel was opened with the participation of President Ilham Aliyev on July 29. Its area is 16ha, it has 123 rooms and 38 cottages meetings high standards. There is a restaurant, conference halls, health center, sauna, swimming pool, gym in the hotel. The presentation covered the activities carried out in Gabala in the field of cultural tourism, ecological tourism, village, green tourism.

Chief of Culture and Tourism department of Gabala Nargila Gafarova said a number of activities were carried out in Gabala in the field of tourism, it caused the tourist flow.
â€œGreat importance is attached to the development of tourism in Gabala, like in other regions. In the near future we will probably receive local and foreign tourists not only in summer, but also in winter. About 20,000 tourists came to Gabala in the past six months. 5,000 of them were foreigners,â€ she said.

A show program was held the same day. The representatives of Culture and Tourism Ministry, tourism companies and media got acquainted with the hotels, sanatoria, Gabala museum of history and ethnography and Juma mosque.
