Reasons of Dubai visa cancellation announced

Ahmad said not only Azerbaijanis, but the citizens of other countries also faced with such problem, which was created during updating of the systemâ€™s data bank. The problem is solving and the system will be completely put into operation in a week eliminating all these problems.

Ahmad presented two novelties implemented by Dubai government in visa issuing for the foreign citizens. The Emiratesâ€™ official said one of those novelties was Mobile Visa service. Travelers in any country can visit the Dubaiâ€™s website and enter their e-mail address or phone number and after payment via credit cards they can receive visa number via e-mail or phone. At arrival in Dubai airport they submit those messages to visa bureau and receive real visa.

The second novelty is the checking of visas on www.amer.ae. Any person, who received Dubai visa, can visit this site to know kind and status of visas. The air line companies can use this resource to get information about the passengersâ€™ visas.

Ahmad emphasized that one the latest novelties implemented at the Dubai airport is an identification of eyes with scanners. It is carried out in visa section of the airport.

A visa issue for UAE was banned for the Azerbaijani men of 18-65 later June for a while.
