Baku hosts GUAMâ€™s meeting of heads of organizations on tourism

GUAM secretary, representatives of tourism companies of Azerbaijan, Georgia and Moldova, officials of embassy of Ukraine and Japanese to Azerbaijan attended the meeting.

Azerbaijani Minister of Culture and Tourism Abulfas Garayev noted that, todayâ€™s meeting was dedicated to new project which developed by GUAM countries. â€œThe project means to attract the Japanese tourists to GUAM countries, to provide importance services for them, to show the the culture, traditions, cuisine of each countries. Our purpose is to organize a special program on tourism sphere with Japanâ€ he added

He also told that, several tourism companies of Japan will hold its presentation.

During the meeting, establishment of single tourism production with Japan, creation of GUAM tourism portal, problems about development of cooperation on tourism, place and time of the next meeting on tourism were discussed .

Baku Declaration, protocol of meeting and operation plan on the development of tourism production will be accepted at the end of the meeting.
