Conference â€œTourism and recreation: problems and prospectsâ€ takes place in Baku

Baku. Aynur Valiyeva â€“ APA-Economics. Scientific-practical conference â€œTourism and recreation: problems and prospectsâ€ has been held in Baku today, APA-Economics reports. Culture and Tourism Minister Abulfas Garayev said the number of the participants of the scientific conferences on this theme increased.
â€œTodayâ€™s conference covers all spheres of tourism. The event is ready to cover the present situation and can give recommendations in connection with the activities to be carried out in the next stage. Our main aim is to involve the most talented students to work in the travel agencies and tourism industry. We consider that the development of tourism will offer opportunities to create jobs in Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan Tourism Institute will have first graduates this year and I am sure that after that Azerbaijan will have more professionals in the tourism infrastructure,â€ he said.

The conference consisted of three sections, each section consisted of two sessions. The first section was â€œTheoretical and practical importance of studying tourism and recreation resourcesâ€, the second section â€œTourism market: modern situation, prospects of security developmentâ€, the third section â€œEcotourism and its development problemsâ€.

At the end of the conference chairmen of the sections made reports and certificates were presented to the participants.

The representatives of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, Baku State University, Nakhchivan State University and Tourism Institute made reports at the conference.
