In the first phase, several islands will be created in 4-5 km off Baku, which will be connected with Baku via direct highway and maritime transport. The islands will be crated for the developing tourism sector.
The project of artificial islands is elaborated now. The sources said the islands will be built by the foreign companies, which names are not publicized,
Group of Companies Euro-City is working on the project of Zira Zero Export Island, which aims to build environmental resort complex in the Caspian island of Zira (former Nargin).
