Egypt tourism officials make info-tour on Azerbaijan

Baku. Ulkar Gasimova â€“ APA. Ministry of Culture and Tourism and Azerbaijanâ€™s embassy in Egypt organized an info-tour of the officials of the Egyptâ€™s Tourism Ministry, travel agencies and mass media on Azerbaijan. Spokesman for the Ministry of Tourism and Culture Intigam Humbatov told APA the Egyptian tourism officials and journalists visited the cities of Baku, Gabala, Shaki, Gakh and Guba within the info-tour to learn the tourism potential of the capital city and the regions as well and to found the future cooperation between the two countries in the field of tourism development. The Egyptian guests visited the historical, cultural and architectural sides, hotels, the tourism areas in Baku, Gabala, Shaki, Gakh and Guba. They held working meetings with the local travel agencies, and with the chief of the tourism department of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism Aydin Ismiyev and discussed the organizing of direct flights and tours between the countries, and received the printed materials about the tourism potential of Azerbaijan.
