An occasionally rainy weather with snowfall in mountainous areas is expecting those traveling to the Greater and Lesser Caucasus on the weekend, the National Hydrometeorology Department of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources told ONA.
The rain will likely intensify in some places and stop in the afternoon on April 21. The temperatures will be 10-14 degrees on foothills and 6-9 degrees in mountainous regions.
In the Lankaran-Astara region the weather is expected to be rainy. The maximum air temperatures will be 9-13 degrees.
In the Aran region, lightning and intermittent rain are expected, while the weather will be mainly rainless on April 21. The maximum temperatures will be 10-15 degrees and 18 degrees on April 21.
Lightning and intermittent rain are also expected in Nakhchivan with mostly rainless daytime on April 21. The maximum temperatures will be 11-16 degrees.
In capital Baku, the weather is predicted to be changeable cloudy, rainy in some places, and rainless on April 21. The maximum temperatures will be 9-14 degrees.
