"AZN 780 mln will be allocated from the state budget to increase wages by September 1," Vusal Gasimli, Executive Director of the Azerbaijani Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication, told a press conference today, APA reports.
According to him, this year the minimum wage increased from 180 to 250 manat: “During the year there were two increases in this area. The social package, signed by President Ilham Aliyev, covers up to 2 million people. Financial volume is about 1 billion. This, in turn, means a further improvement in the well-being of citizens.”
