Traffic restricted in central Baku due to Formula 1

From today on, the traffic on some streets and avenues of Baku has been restricted and changed due to Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix, ONA reports.

The F1 circuit starts on Baku Boulevard, in front of Azadlig Square. The cars make a quick 90° left onto Pushkin Avenue, then another left on Xagani Street. Then they run through the Zarifa Aliyeva, Rasul Rza and Aziz Aliyev streets, looping around the old city, and passing the historic Maiden Tower. They further run to the Youth Square, the Istiglalliyat, Niyazi and Azneft circles, and reach the Seaside Boulevard, back to the start.

The traffic on these routes and on the routes adjacent or parallel to them has been changed and restricted.

Also, the Baku Transport Agency (BNA) told ONA that from today on 17 bus routes (1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 18, 31, 37, 46, 53, 61, 65, 77, 88, 125, 205, H1) have been changed as well.

The Formula 1 will take place on April 26-28.
