"We do not consider it right to confuse Azerbaijan's or Armenia's bilateral relations with third parties with the Nagorno-Karabakh issue," said Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova while commenting on the Shusha Declaration on Allied Relations signed between Azerbaijan and Turkey at a briefing today, APA's Moscow bureau reports.
MFA official emphasized that bilateral relations in the region, including military relations, should not be established against other states: "We support all steps aimed at normalizing the dialogue between Baku and Yerevan, including Yerevan-Ankara. Cooperation in the South Caucasus should develop taking into account the principle of good neighborliness and, of course, the interests of all countries in the region."
