A farewell ceremony was held for martyr Teymur Gudrat oglu Allahverdiyev, who was considered missing during the First Karabakh War and whose remains were found 33 years later, APA’s Mil-Mughan bureau reports.
The remains of the martyr were handed over to his family. Today, a farewell ceremony took place at his home. After the ceremony, his remains were laid to rest in the Gachagkend village cemetery of the Neftchala district.
The funeral was attended by his relatives, local residents, representatives of state institutions, and military personnel.
Note that Teymur Allahverdiyev was born in 1967 in Gachagkend village of the Neftchala district.
He took part in battles during the First Karabakh War and was considered missing in the city of Shusha on May 8, 1992.
