A farewell ceremony was held for the martyr Elchin Heydarov Aghammad oglu, who was considered missing during the First Karabakh War and whose remains were found 31 years later, APA’s Mil-Mugan bureau reports.
The remains of martyr Elchin Heydarov were handed over to his family, and a farewell ceremony was held today at his home.
After the ceremony, the remains were buried in the Aghamammadli village cemetery of the Imishli district.
Family members, representatives of local authorities, the public, and servicemen attended the funeral.
Note that Elchin Heydarov was born in 1971 in the village of Aghamammadli, Imishli district. He participated in the battles of the First Karabakh War and was considered missing since January 12, 1994, in the village of Ashaghi Seyidahmadli, Fuzuli district.
