"There are more than 70 historical buildings. Over the past few months, relevant agencies have been planning relocation, protection, etc. work in the "Sovetsky" area. The demolition of many buildings in the area has been carried out by relevant agencies. About 400 families have been relocated from this area. The process will continue," he said.
Riad Gasimov also said that it has been observed that many buildings in the areas in question, which do not have any historical significance, are in a dilapidated and neglected condition: "In this case, their preservation is not considered appropriate."
