Another media visit to Karabakh has been organized, the Public Relations Department of the Restoration, Construction and Management Service in Khankendi, Aghdara, and Khojaly districts told APA's Karabakh bureau

15 representatives of Turkish media from Kars, Erzurum, and Iğdır visited the cities of Aghdam, Khojaly, and Khankendi.

The journalists first visited the Askeran fortress of Khojaly within the framework of the visit.

The guests were welcomed by employees of the Restoration, Construction and Management Service in Khankendi, Aghdar,a and Khojaly districts. The media representatives were given detailed information about the Askeran fortress, built by the Karabakh khan Panahali Khan in the 18th century. It was stated that the fortress was known as the eastern gate of the Karabakh khanate and was built for defense purposes.

Later, the Turkish journalists visited the city of Khojaly and got acquainted with the large-scale construction and improvement works carried out there. They met with the residents who returned to Khojaly and learned their impressions. According to the information provided, within the framework of the "Great Return" State Program, the resettlement process has already been carried out in the city of Khojaly and 7 villages.

The next stop of the visit was the city of Khankendi. Media representatives visited the Karabakh University located here. The guests were informed about the activities of the higher education institution, the educational process, and future plans.

Note that the visit of Turkish journalists to Karabakh serves to further strengthen media relations between the two countries, as well as to provide wide coverage of the restoration and reconstruction work carried out in the liberated territories in the international media.
