The Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel-General Kamaladdin Heydarov, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Tajikistan to Azerbaijan, Ilkhom Abdurakhmon, the Ministry told APA.
Welcoming the ambassador, Minister Kamaladdin Heydarov recalled that the relations between Azerbaijan and Tajikistan are characterized by brotherhood and friendship. In this context, the minister expressed confidence that the meeting with the ambassador would be beneficial in expanding cooperation between the relevant agencies of the two countries in combating emergency situations.
Expressing gratitude for the sincere meeting, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilkhom Abdurakhmon, emphasized that the relations between the two countries are constantly expanding.
The meeting included a broad exchange of views on issues of mutual interest.
