“Next year, restoration and construction works in Shusha will continue,” Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Shusha district, Aydin Karimov, told journalists, APA reports.
He noted that intensive construction works are currently underway in the city of Shusha — the construction of two residential complexes has already begun, and work on a third complex will start in the coming months.
“At the end of next year - beginning of 2027, we will gradually hand over the buildings for use by the residents of Shusha. The next wave of return for former internally displaced persons will take place. Finishing works are ongoing inside the buildings being constructed on Karabakh Street, which is the city center. This will also help improve hotel services in the city,” A. Karimov said.
