The scope of prohibited information that should not be placed on the Internet information resource is being expanded, APA reports.
This is reflected in the new Article 13-2.3.6-1 proposed to the Law "On Information, Informatization and Information Protection" that was put to discussion at today's session of the Milli Majlis.
According to the draft, the owner of the Internet information resource and its domain name or the user of the information and telecommunications network must not allow the placement of information on that information resource (information and telecommunications network) that, when publicly displayed, offends public morality and openly expresses disrespect for society, that is, uttering immoral expressions or making gestures that create the impression of such content, or displaying parts of the human body in a manner contrary to moral norms and national and moral values.
The draft law was put to a vote and adopted in the first reading.
