The C-130 aircraft belonging to Türkiye disappeared from radar a few minutes after entering Georgian territory, APA’s local bureau reports, citing the Georgian Air Navigation Administration.
According to the information, the aircraft did not send a distress signal.
“The Administration, in full compliance with international protocol, dispatched a search and rescue team to the incident site. At present, search and rescue operations are being carried out jointly with the relevant Georgian authorities,” the statement said.
