APA’s Shaky-Zagatala bureau reports that it is snowing here for 5 days. The thickness of snow cover in Balaken reached 30-40 cm, in foothills – 50 cm, in Zagatala – 25-30 cm, in foothills – 40 cm, in Gakh region – 15-20 cm, in foothills – 50-60 cm.
Roads froze, electric cables broke in some places. 18 villages of Balaken region left without power. The works is currently underway on elimination of the accidents. Motor ways are being removed from snow and ice.
