Museum in Azerbaijan’s Zagatala region stops demonstrating exhibits related to France - PHOTO

He said the step had been taken in protest against the bill criminalizing the denial of the so-called Armenian genocide passed by the French Senate. According to the director of the museum, if the unfair law is applied, the museum will not offer services to the French tourists.
The museum has various exhibits related to Carla Serena, famous French traveler, who visited Zagatala in the 70s of the 19th century and later described the customs and traditions of the region in her book “My travelâ€. The autograph written by Viktor Hugo on August 3, 1880 in France after having read the above-mentioned book by Carla Serena, the silver medal issued in 1678 in the rein of Louis XIV are no more available in the museum.
