Number and specialties for students to be educated with state order made public in Azerbaijan

The Cabinet of Ministers told APA that, according to the decision # 336, the â€œForecast of student admission in different specialties of state orders at the undergraduate and graduate universities in 2012/2013 and 2013/2014, 2015/2016â€ has been approved by the Cabinet. These forecasts are based on the proposals of the Ministry of Economic Development.

It is projected that the number of students who receive higher education on the basis of state order in the next 4 years will vary between 10-11 thousand people. That is, 10,900 students are considered for 2012/2013, 11,070 - 2013/2014, 11,232 - 2014/2015, 11,398 - 2015/2016 years.

In 2012/2013, it is expected that most students receive an education in technical and technological specialties (2,962 students), the teaching professions (2,769 students), the Economic and Management majors (1,643 students).

Among the teaching professions, the most orders are considered on foreign language teachers (416 seats), the Azerbaijani language and literature (325 seats), a primary school (264 places), mathematics (200 seats),

In the next school year, the most orders are considered on teachers of physical education (376 seats), Economics (290) Management (233) Computer (215), industrial organization and management (198), general medicine (198) Business Management (190), Computer Sciences (162).

In the next 4 years, the number of undergraduates to study in state order will be 2.5 thousand. 2,448 in 2012/2013, 2,495 - 2013 / 2014, 2,546 - 2014 / 2015, 2,551 - 2015 / 2016 graduates will be able to master.
