Maleyka Abbaszadeh: The mistakes made in the secondary textbooks must be put forward for public discussion

Baku. Kamala Guliyeva â€“ APA. â€œThe mistakes made in the secondary textbooks must be put forward for public discussion, because someone in every family goes to school. This problem concerns every family,â€ chairperson of the State Student Admission Commission (SSAC) Maleyka Abbaszadeh said, APA reports.

As regards the discussions between the SSAC and Education Ministry concerning the mistakes in the secondary school textbooks, Maleyka Abbaszadeh said since 2006 the commission has been sending the ministry its notices and proposals concerning the mistakes in the textbooks.
â€œWe can not admit that a mistake strike a blow on somebodyâ€™s fate. These mistakes are made public by the SSAC. We always keep this in the focus of attention. We are ready to hold discussions. SSAC holds seminars on all subjects every week. For some reason no attention is paid to these discussions. But when I speak about these issues they attempt to politicize it. When I speak I refer to the studies conducted by the experts. Our aim is to prevent the mistakes from affecting the fate of entrants in the exam. Therefore, these mistakes have been and will be put forward for the public discussion,â€ she said.
