In order to prevent such cases, the State Labor Inspectorate Service often holds events in this regard jointly with confederation of entrepreneurs. Tagiyev noted that industrial accidents were caused by indifferent attitude of employers toward labor protection, health and safety rules.
“About 300 industrial accidents took place within 10 months of 2011, 83 persons died during these incidents. Such incidents mostly happen in construction and oil sectors. 7 persons died at stone-pit. They fell into the combine. We have suspended the activity of that combine at some stone-pitsâ€, added Tagiyev.
He stressed that investigations were underway at prosecutor offices in relation to such industrial accidents.
