Young environmentalistsâ€™ camp continues in Gabala

The international event aims to bring together young people for mobilizing their efforts for the prevention of ecological threats. Representatives of about 40 countries gathered in Gabala camp to discuss the most pressing ecological issues. Today the discussions are held in various panels. The young people from different countries focus attention on the problems of climate changes, ecological consequences of economic development, carbon emissions and other issues. The role of youth in solution of global problems, prospects of environmental cooperation â€“ public support and development of green economy are among the panel subjects.

The experts addressing the event emphasized the responsibility of young people in protection of environment. They called carbon emissions as a serious threat for global ecology and urged the young people to unite their efforts for making positive progress in this field.

International Dialogue for Environmental Action is an international campaign launched by Vice-President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva on July 12, 2011 in Baku. The main objective of the campaign is to bring together young people and encourage them to live in harmony with the environment.

The young environmentalists will adopt Final Declaration in the end of the camp.
