Masterâ€™s degree program in specialties requiring special skills to be unavailable in Azerbaijan next year

When we analyzed the answers of the entrants this year we saw that they answered the open questions well. The general analysis shows that these questions can be applied more widely,â€ department chief of the State Student Admission Commission Arzu Bagirov told APA. He said there will be open questions on mathematics and physics in the 1st specialty group, mathematics and geography in the 2nd specialty group, mathematics and history in the 3rd specialty group, mathematics and chemistry in the 4th specialty group.

One of the innovations is connected with the specialties in the masterâ€™s degree program of higher schools.
â€œThe number of the specialties in the masterâ€™s degree program has been reduced. Masterâ€™s degree program in specialties requiring special skills will be unavailable next year. The admission will be available only on theoretical specialties,â€ he said.

Asked whether the marks in the education certificates will be taken into account in the entrance exams, Bagirov said they are taken into consideration indirectly.
