Ali Hasanov: Relocation of the internally displaced persons living in the houses of the local residents has started

Baku. Kamala Guliyeva â€“ APA. â€œRelocation of the internally displaced persons living in the houses of the local residents has started. Internally displaced persons have already been relocated from some 20 houses,â€ Deputy Prime Minister, chairman of the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons Ali Hasanov told journalists, APA reports.

He said about 200 IDP families had been relocated from the places that are very important construction sites in Baku.
â€œInternally displaced persons do not need to appeal to the Council of Europe. Some lawyers want to benefit from the appeals of the internally displaced persons. This is not right. The government of Azerbaijan has passed a decision, allocated funds, we are gradually relocating them. This is also envisaged in the State Program. The internally displaced persons must not give a handle to such people. It undermines the image of the state,â€ he said.

Ali Hasanov addressed the owners of the houses settled by IDPs.
â€œWe will gradually solve this problem. There will be no need to appeal to the Council of Europe. This problem is being solved. Let them tolerate a little bit. They must know that their damage to the image of the state is very serious,â€ he said.
