Capacity building training sessions for NGOs in Nakhchivan

Baku – APA. The OSCE Office in Baku, the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights and the Justice Ministry of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic will organize capacity building training sessions for NGOs in Nakhchivan on September 5-6, 2011, APA reports.
The training will involve twenty-five local NGOs from the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan (NAR) and will cover domestic legislation and international standards in relation to the right to freedom of association, particularly regarding the establishment and legal basis for the functioning of NGOs, including registration procedures.
International and local trainers will offer interactive presentations with case studies, and introduce the trainees to the methodology of “training of trainersâ€, so that they will be in a position to spread the knowledge further among other civil society representatives.
