28.1 percent of entrants gained less than 100 scores at entrance exams in Azerbaijan this year

Baku. Sevil Zeynalgizi â€“ APA. 28.1 percent of the entrants gained 0-100 scores at the entrance exams for higher schools for 2011. 22 percent of the entrants gained 100-200 scores, chairperson of the State Student Admission Commission Maleyka Abbaszadeh said at the press conference, APA reports.

She said 87.7 percent of the entrants, whose education certificate mark is â€œ3â€, failed to gain more than 100 scores.
â€œThose persons were given education certificates at schools. 11.6 percent of the entrants, whose education certificate mark is â€œ4â€ and â€œ4.5â€ gained 0-110 scores, while â€œ4â€ and â€œ4.5â€ are high results. Several thousands of pupils failed to get education certificate. I wonder how their scores were. The entrants, who gain 0-150 scores at the final exams, must not reach the process of admission. They must fail in the final exams, because we know that this means â€œ2â€ at schools,â€ she said.

According to Maleyka Abbaszadeh, those awarded gold medals on average gained more than 500 scores.
