Representatives of US embassy in Azerbaijan meet with schoolchildren at American Education Center in Sumgayit

Baku. Azer Mustafayev â€“ APA. The representatives of the US embassy in Azerbaijan met with schoolchildren at American Education Center in Sumgayit, APA reports. Taking into account the interest of the schoolchildren in the English language, advisor of the embassyâ€™s department for culture and education Christ Johns said those who will learn English perfectly, will be able to study in the US, get more information about the countryâ€™s history, culture and economy.

â€œSumgayit American Education Center is ready to offer any kind of assistance to the schoolchildren,â€ he said.

Christ Johns mentioned that there are such education centers in Baku and Ganja. The embassyâ€™s representative spoke about the importance of Facebook.

â€œThe youth must be active in Facebook. You will be able to get information about the US state, the activity and representatives of the US embassy in Azerbaijan,â€ he said.

Christ Johns gifted a notebook to Raid â€“ the 5000th visitor of the US embassyâ€™s Facebook page.
