Azerbaijan and Belarus sign agreement on mutual recognition of high school certificates

APA reports quoting AzerTAc that prime ministers first held one-on-one meeting. Later, the meeting continued with the participation of the delegations.

Highly appreciating the level of cooperation between our countries, Artur Rasizadeh expressed his satisfaction with the enhancement of the political, economic, cultural, humanitarian relations, implementation of the joint projects.

Artur Rasizadeh said special importance is attached to the establishment of modern infrastructure in Azerbaijan and added that the development of non-oil sector and agriculture is the major goal of the policy pursued in the country. Prime Minister touched on the importance of the exchange of experience between Azerbaijan and Belarus and underlined the significance of joint projects in the development of cooperation.

Underlining that Azerbaijan is developing rapidly, Prime Minister of Belarus Mikhail Myasnikovich said cooperation in trade, economy, investment were discussed during the visit. Myasnikovich expressed his gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev for attention to the development of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Belarus.

Azerbaijan-Belarus documents were signed after the meeting with the participation of the delegations.

Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Khalaf Khalafov and First Deputy Foreign Minister of Belarus Igor Petrishenko signed â€œAgreement between the Government of Azerbaijan and the Government of Belarus on mutual allocation of land plots for diplomatic officesâ€, â€œAgreement between the Government of Azerbaijan and the Government of Belarus on mutual recognition of education certificatesâ€ and â€œPlan of thematic consultation between the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan and Foreign Ministry of Belarus for 2011-2012â€.

Mikhail Myasnikovich has ended his visit to Azerbaijan. Prime Minister Artur Rasizadeh and other officials saw the guest off at the airport.
