Single school uniform to be applied Bakuâ€™s secondary schools from 2011-2012 school year

According to her, two uniforms will be applied in the next school year: â€œAccording to the law, the pupils of I-VI classes will have one single uniform, the pupils of VII-XI classes â€“ the other single uniform. From the next school year i.e. from September 15, the pupils will go to school with the determined uniformâ€.

Aligizi addressed the parents of pupils, who are getting education in the educational establishments subordinated to Baku City Education Office, on purchasing the uniforms in time: â€œWe inform the parents to purchase the school uniforms till September 15. Because there is a mass flow in the sales center before the school year and some anxieties establishâ€.

Aligizi said that Baku City Education office is engaged in sale of school uniforms, the uniforms have been already put up for sale in all sale centers of Sewing House. Noting the functioning of Baku City Education Officeâ€™s sales centers in the capitalâ€™s all districts, the sector chief said that the parents can get the more concrete information on the addresses of these centers form the educational establishments where their children study.

The school uniform is applied in educational establishments subordinated to Baku City Education Office starting with 2007-2008 school year. Every pupil had its own uniform in the initial stage. But in the 2010-2011 school year, the pupils of I-IV classes of all educational establishments, subordinated to Baku City Education Office, proceeded to a single school uniform.
