Results of laboratory tests of sea waters taken from the beaches in Azerbaijan made public

Baku. Sevil Zeynalgizi â€“ APA. The Republic Hygiene and Epidemiology Center publicized the results of laboratory tests of sea waters taken from the beaches situated in Absheron peninsula.

Chief of Sanitary Department of the Republic Hygiene and Epidemiology Center Ziyaddin Kazimov told APA that according to the results of analysis, the quality indicators of sea water in Mardakan, Shuvelan, Novkhani, Buzovna, Zagulba, Pirshagi, Bilgah, Nardaran, Turkan, Hovsan beaches are normal: â€œThe bacteriological pollution was observed in â€œSahilâ€ and â€œShikhâ€ beaches situated in Garadagh and Sabail regionsâ€. The decision adopted on these beaches last year still remains in force this year. The center informed the Emergency and Health Ministries and Baku City Executive Power about itâ€.

According to the decision passed last year, the use of Shikh beach in Sabail region and Sahil beach in Garadagh region were was prohibited taking into considerations its hurt to the health, the occur and release of infectious diseases among the population.
