Azerbaijan, Germany to sign protocol of intention for nuclear cooperation and personnel training

He said he learned working regimes of the 20Mvt reactors, experiences, education processes at the Mainz University and Munich Technical University and experience of the German universities would contribute to the research works in Azerbaijan conducted in this sphere.

Garibov said they decided to sign a protocol of intention between the Munich Technical University, Germanyâ€™s Institute of Physics and Chemistry and Radiation problems Institute of Azerbaijan for nuclear cooperation and personnel training. They are working on the preliminary version of the protocol. The sides will discuss it and sign by the end of the year.

Azerbaijani and German scientists discussed the directions of joint scientific cooperation which include their common interests. â€œWe will conduct joints research with the German counterparts in the fields of material radiation sciences, preparation and processing of new materials, modification of their features, preparation of polymer and compounded rubber, production of isotopesâ€.
