Beach season starts in Azerbaijan - <font color=red>PHOTOSESSION</font>

In his speech, Department chief of SWRCâ€™s Plunger and rescue service Elsevar Hasanov said that the service was provided with modern equipments and techniques during activity on MES, the broad educating works are conducted for citizens before start of the beach season. Noting the close participation of SWRS in elimination of consequences of natural disaster occurred in Kur and Araz Rivers, Hasanov said that 326 persons were rescued by service employees in this period. 2306 persons were rescued by service employees to the present day.

In his speech, Deputy Minister Tagizadeh offered advices to the rescuers.

Then the rescue equipments in the station were examined. The information was given about new purchased boats, scooters, equipments for plungers.

Tagizadeh told journalists that more than 20 rescue stations were built, numerous posts were established in the beaches by MES over the last 5 years. According to him, the rescuers regularly hold raids: â€œToday the drowning cases occur because of the personsâ€™ own faults. In most case it happens due to swimming drunk and disorderly, as well as leaving children unattendedâ€.

Deputy minister said that, 700 citizens were rescued by MES rescuers. He noted that the rescue works are conducted not only in the beaches, but also in Kur and Araz rivers.

As for the opening of beach season 15 days earlier, Taghizadeh linked it with the weather.
