APA’s Karabakh bureau reports that he was accompanied by chairman of State Committee on Deals of Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons Ali Hasanov. He visited the new settlement constructed for IDPs in Guzanli settlement of Aghdam, region, familiarized himself with the middle school in the settlement.
The IDPs informed the UN representative about the problems they had faced, the killings of civilians in the frontline by Armenians.
Then he visited Yevlakh region and visited the settlement of IDPs there. He met with the residents.
At his meeting with the IDPs, Guterres said that he visited Azerbaijan 5 years ago. He highly assessed the works carried out by the government in order to improve the living conditions of IDPs and underlined that great projects will be realized by the government.
