Azerbaijani President: â€œUntil 2013, all social infrastructure issues will find solution by completion of the second regional programâ€

Baku â€“ APA-Economics. â€œAll issues considered in the State Program on socio-economic development of regions must be solved. The main infrastructure issues will be solved in the next few yearsâ€, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said during the meeting with Sabirabad residents, APA reports.

To him, all roads in villages are repaired and reconstructed in Azerbaijan: â€œConstruction of roads is going fast both in Baku suburbs and most remote villages, regions. Village roads, drinkable water, sewerage projects are prepared. I hope that, all duties we considered will be carried out. Because, we have both political will and thought-out programs to do this. We implement these programs. I am sure that, until 2013, all social infrastructure issues will find solution by completion of the second regional program. We must try to create all conditions for living and working of populationâ€.

The residents noted that last year, they faced danger and lost their houses as a result of natural disaster occurred during Kura flood, but thanks to attention of the president and the state, all problems were left behind, that is why, they thanked the head of state.

The head of state noted, that time, all state bodies, at the same time, private companies worked very well and actively: â€œOur main duty is to be ready for each natural disaster in future. I am very glad that all these repair and restoration works have been solved in a short time. Of course, during the disaster, our main duty was to evacuate people to more safe places and without losses, to create conditions of them. Even we established medical stations there, tents were built, hot foods were organized. That is, our entire nation was mobilized. That incident was an experiment for us. We overcame that experiment honorably. On the other hand, we showed the power of our countryâ€.

At the meeting with Saatli residents, President Aliyev said that until 2012, 85% of country territory would be supplied with gas: â€œI tasked SOCAR to supply all residential settlements, where it is possible, with gasâ€.

Speaking about stateâ€™s care to Azerbaijani youth, the president noted that the 31st Olympic complex was opened in Imishli region: â€œOlympic complex will be built in Saatli as well. Youth House will be constructed near it too. â€œAzerbaijani youth in 2011-2015â€ State Program is prepared. Construction of Youth Center both in Baku and in the regions must be considered thereâ€.
