Document submission for the 2027 Hajj pilgrimage will begin even earlier than last year, Vusal Jahangiri, head of the Foreign Relations Department of the Caucasus Muslims’ Office and head of the Hajj Electronic System, told APA.
According to him, based on the recommendation of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the submission of documents for the Hajj pilgrimage will begin earlier this year than last year.
Initially, the Caucasus Muslims’ Office has set the price of the pilgrimage package at $6,100 per person, the same as last year.
“A slight increase in the price cannot be ruled out. Against the backdrop of the well-known events taking place around the world, as well as due to the reduction of service packages from four to three by the relevant authorities of the Kingdom and the addition of new services, certain price increases are inevitable. As always, the pilgrimage will be organized in a unified format and will be carried out by air,” he said.
The required documents for the Hajj pilgrimage are as follows:
- International passport (valid for at least one year);
- Copy of identity card;
- Two 5 cm × 5 cm color photographs taken against a white background (women wearing a dark hijab);
- Health certificate.
Documents will be accepted from September 24, 2026, on working days from 10:00 to 16:00 at the administrative building of the Caucasus Muslims’ Office located at 7 Mirza Fatali Street, Baku.
According to the requirements of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, the process of registering documents and obtaining visas must be carried out earlier than last year.
