Istanbul. Mayis Alizadeh – APA. “Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway has not any problem in the construction of Turkey part”, Minister of Transport, Maritime and Communication of Turkey Lütfi Elvan told APA.
Elvan said that most of works in Turkish part of the project have already been carried out: “Now, lightening and communication systems are being set in the tunnels. If everything goes on as we planned, our works will be completed within 3-5 months. We also wish acceleration of works in the Georgian part. I can not exactly speak about testing at the end of this year, but we have carried out our works”.
Answering question “Is there a financial problem in implementation of the project?”, Elvan said that Turkish side has not any problem.
