Second part of Ganja-Georgia border highway expected to be constructed next year

Ganja. Azer Mammadli – APA.  The Asian Development Bank is reviewing the project of constructing the second part of the Ganja-Georgia border highway.
 
 
 
Vice-President of the Asian Development Bank Wencai Zhang, who is on a visit to Ganja, said this in his statement to journalists, APA’s western bureau reports.
 
 
 
According to Wencai Zhang, the construction of the second part of the Ganja-Georgia border highway calls for a great deal of fund. The vice-president said the project is being reviewed at the moment, noting that the highway will be of great importance to regional integration and cooperation. Wencai Zhang said the project may be approved by the end of the year, and if it is, the construction works will likely get started next year.
 
 
 
In his visit to the western region, Wencai Zhang got acquainted with projects implemented at the expense of the credits allocated by the ADB, and also had a meeting with Elmar Valiyev, Head of the Ganja City Executive Power.
