Quality of communication in Azerbaijan to be checked with special standards

Minister of Communication and High Technologies Ali Abbasov told journalists that the quality of communication in Azerbaijan will be checked with the special standards: “It will take 1-2 months. Thereafter, certain measures will be taken”.

Speaking about quality of the internet, the minister said Azerbaijan advanced 7 steps and ranked 49^th in the Global Information Technology Report of the World Economic Forum: “Azerbaijan was a leader among the CIS countries and ranked first among the world countries for availability of mobile phone service index”.
