Nar Mobile announces photo contest dedicated to the Ramadan

Baku. Musa Ahmadov – APA-Economics. On the eve of the great Ramadan celebration, Nar Mobile takes decision to organize interesting contest. Trying to attract the attention of youth to the rich history and culture of Azerbaijan, national heritage and traditions of the Azerbaijani people, this photo contest aims mainly to underscore the importance of family values in the contemporary period, describe all beauty of elder age of life and recall once again the links between the generations. Thus, the photos showing the daily life of parents and grandparents will be presented at the contest.

 

It should be noted that there is no age limitation to take part at the photo contest. Each photographer should submit 1 or 2 photos never shown before. Photos shot either by camera or phone should be of optimal quality, reflect true colors, artistic values, national history, culture and traditions as much as possible. They should also reflect a good will. During the period from 14 to 31 July, the photos should be sent to Nar Mobile’s official webpage in Facebook, Twitter and Instagram social networks. These materials will be evaluated by a distinguished panel of jury from 1 to 8 August. Jury panel are composed of Chingiz Abdullayev, people’s writer of Azerbaijan, Narghiz Jalilova, TV presenter, Sitara Ibrahimova, photographer, Irina Eldarova, artist and Nigar Arpadarai, Head of PR and Corporate Communications Unit of the Azerfon Company.

 

Names of the first 3 winners will be unveiled on 10-11 August. The prize presentation ceremony will take place on 15 August by presenting iPhone 5S to the 1st place winner, Samsung mini tablet to the 2nd place winner and Nar modem and 12-month free internet to the winner of the 3rd place. All photos selected for the contest will be added to the annual calendar of Nar Mobile.
