JTÄ° holds seminar for Azerbaijani customs officials - <span style="color: red;">PHOTOSESSION

The event was attended by 25 employees from SCC Apparatus and regional departments. The lecturers were German and Swiss experts.

APA-Economics reports head of the main Department for Combating Smuggling and Customs Violations of the State Customs Committee Guloglan Muradli spoke about illegal trade in Azerbaijan and the world. He noted that Azerbaijan also combats illegal trading cases, including tobacco products. Muradli thanked to JTI company for seminar.

Head of JTI office in Azerbaijan Namig Guliyev spoke about tobacco product smuggling and noted that JTI intends to support such seminars in the future.

German and Swiss experts spoke about world practice, gave information about well-known smuggling goods, methods, facts. The seminar organizers presented portative lamps supplied with ultraviolet light and magnifying glasses to the employees for revealing fake tobacco products. At the end of the event, the employees were submitted certificates.

JTI plans to hold seminars for SCC employees in the future.
