Baku. Aynur Aliyeva - APA-Economics. ICT Ministry has today held a board meeting on outcomes of January-September, 2013.

Minister Ali Abbasov spoke about the work done within 9 months and the measures to-be-taken. He said that successful economic reforms stimulated dynamic development and growth rate in non-oil sector.

He noted that ICT application during the presidential elections was organized at a high level in the country.

It was noted that compared to last year, incomes from ICT, information and postal sectors grew y 10.5% to AZN 1,196.8 mln.

At the end of the meeting, the minister touched upon future targets, as well as the decrees and orders of country’s president on ICT sector.

Abbasov gave tasks on expansion of digital TV broadcasting, increasing information security, regulatory, "e-government", non-traditional services in mailing, "e-signature", continuation of measures associated with the use of broadband Internet access in all areas of the country, elimination of the existing gaps and shortcomings.
